Stone Cutters Limited was formed 10 years ago to produce granite for kitchen worktops at affordable prices and to make the whole process of buying granite easier for the Customer, avoiding lengthly waiting times from templating to on site fitting.

We order direct from the importer, there is no ‘middleman’, and have our own stone workshop meaning we are in complete control and can offer extremely competitive prices as well as being able to fit your new or replacement granite worktops normally within days of our Stone Masons taking templates.

Our Stone Masons are experienced tradesmen who are used to working in Client’s homes and have fitted thousands of granite worktops over the years for our many satisfied Customers.

We hold a large stock of quality granite from all over the world at our workshop/showroom and offer samples free of charge for you to try in your home before making your decision. Only the very best quality granite slabs are chosen before we cut, polish and shape them and deliver them to site and install.

To obtain a quotation for your new granite worktops initially please provide a rough sketch/diagram of your kitchen layout with rough measurements and position of hob/sink etc. and forward this to us by email or fax or why not drop in to our showroom with it and see for yourself examples of our work. We will then provide a no obligation estimate for your new tops.

What is GRANITE?

Granite is a very hard wearing natural stone that not only is beautiful to the eye it has many properties such as very high heat resistance, stain resistance, extreme durability and wear resistance and scratch resistant which make it ideal for kitchen worktops that will last forever. It is formed by nature over millions of years when molten rock from the centre of the earth’s core was pushed to the surface. The beauty which only nature provides is inherent in every piece. Its extreme hardness approaches that of diamonds and makes granite uncommonly durable and extremely appealing for use every day in the home.
